Discontinued candy

Candy disappears for all sorts of reasons: low sales, a company closing, a recipe nobody wanted to pay for. Here are the 12 discontinued candies we have checked, and the 15 that came back.

There is no official count. Of the ones we cover, the Marathon bar, PB Max and the Wonka Bar come up again and again in lists of candy people want back.

Usually low sales. PB Max is the odd one out: a former Mars executive said the Mars family simply did not like peanut butter.
